been busy and lazy these days.

well mostly lazy =), so that explains the lack of updates.

finally updated my friendster today with pics from the past few months, so thats an achievement for lazy me already!

my 2 months contract with shatec is ending at the end of this week. looking forward to sleeping in late and doing nothing all day days again, and then it will be back to job hunting all over again...wish me luck!

finally recieved letter from SIM, uni plans pushed to jan 09 instead. not happy about it but there's nothing much i can do to change this. so this means i can...

1) stay in shatec, which is quite unlikely though im currently quite happy there but i do have lengthy reasons to leave once contract ends.

2) start the job hunting process all over again and pray that i'll find a nice environment to work in til end of this year.

3) slack! which is definately not an option, waha.

the thought of having to wear office clothes everyday and working office hours being stuck at my workdesk everyday for the rest of 2008 makes me feel a little sick, when my mind is actually set on studying 1st. argh. guess i'll just need time to get over it. =)

my memory has been failing me, so i shall note down what i have been doing these few weeks before i completely forgot about them, haha.

went prawning with my girls fr guides on vesak day (yes thats v long ago). last gathering with clarice before she went to US for her internship. i hope she's enjoying herself there! =) btw, our unglam results at the end of the day was a total catch of 2 miserable prawns among 6 of us.

basically, everyday is just occupied with work work work, n wishes for more rest rest rest =)

my laptop officially started dying on me without any warning. it refuses to start up properly and hangs once it reach my desktop screen. argh! i only get it working properly in about 1 out of 15 tries. angry to the max! so i shall post all the pictures i have now before its too late =(

requested for 1 week break from tuition, but tutee's mom insist on him having tuition even though exams are over. argh! i bet tutee will scream the moment he see me later. he's sick of me and im basically sick of trying to humor the bad-tempered him. =(

work is ok,

boring tasks but co-workers are mostly friendly,

and free lunch + snacks here n there, waha.

but dragging myself out of bed every morning is a torture.

actually was back for around 4 days already lah, haha. just that i'm too lazy to blog.

trip was quite nice, most of it was sightseeing coz we went with a tour group, but quality time spent with family during the trip. if i have the chance i'll go there again on free n easy and go crazy shopping and crazy eating, especially at all the 夜市s!

met up with huiwen huimei and edmund on thurs, walked around town, had a nice japanese buffet dinner at boat quay, then to the singapore flyer . its quite worth the price, considering the nice view and all. went partyworld with wen and mei after that and sang til 5am =D . good friday was thus spent catching up on sleep and sat was shopping+eating.

absolutely slacky week, i'm bored out of my mind. nothing that keeps me occupied besides tuition, going out to spend $, looking for jobs that allow me to work for like just 1 or 2 weeks, eating, watching shows, sleeping. arghhhh!

family booked trip to taiwan already, setting off on march 29th. hopefully it'll be enjoyable.

actually i cant wait for the trip to be over, then i can get a more proper job and start getting busy. i miss my friends i miss school and most importantly i miss occupied days.

i've gotten myself out of the torturous-to-me job, but the process of getting out wasn't easy =( . so life goes back to doing basically nothing very significant everyday, haha. yup need to get another job soon and this time round i promise myself i'll choose carefully. =)

wen held her 21st bdae celebration on sunday at chervons, went with huimei and edmund. we got to see many of her primary sch, poly mates and work mates...and of coz, css ppl.yes we are all still young at heart ok! =)

on 19th feb itself, the gang met up again for our own mini celebration for wen at holland village, essential brews:smiley fries, cute =)

met up with my gals yesterday to have steamboat at mich's house, followed by touring around yishun in zg's car, then singing at partyworld all the way til 6am this morning. i hope we can meet up more more more often =)

had steamboat again just now with family coz its the 15th day of cny. i've been stuffing myself with food everyday since the end of my job. so dead.

yup and results were out yesterday. we have graduated from rp! =)

wen won free tickets to watch 27dresses, so we went to watch it last tues. nice girly romantic comedy...my fav kind of movie. go watch it if you havent!

wanted to catch the episode of 黄金路that i missed on friday but live streaming on mobtv was really laggy today. so while waiting for my video to finish dl-ing, i shall do some updates.

yup fyp presentation is over =) , hope the grade wont be too bad, and also managed to make it to class for thurs and fri. thurs was particularly torturing coz i simply dont understand finance, and theres finance ut on monday, and i diedie have to go since i skipped the last one. hai!

k school stuff aside, met up with my guiding gals just now for teo's 21st bday celebration. managed to surprise her by telling her that we are dinning out but steph brought her to yap's house instead where all of us were waiting for her with the food all ready. =)

food was delicious, atmosphere was good, and we all chatted about the old girl guides days til we didnt even realise it was so late, so being the great host, yap drove us to woodlands. and all eight! of us squeezed in her car and laughed all the way to woodlands . truly enjoyable night. =D

this week was busy-ing with fyp. spent tues nite at mich's house and we did have some big improvements so the sleepless night was quite worth it.
now fyp almost complete, next wed will be the presentation =S

happy new year =)

year 2007 went by quite quickly, probably coz nothing quite major happened haha. but overall it was a kinda peaceful and enjoyable year. and 2008 will be a new start too, with graduation from rp and all. honestly i still can't decide what im gonna do after rp, hope i'll see some light soon. =)

new year eve! :

managed to have mac breakfast eventually even though we were running late to meet frankie for fyp. for the 1st time he actually didnt complain that our progress is too slow, maybe he already gave up on us =) . after that finally finally caught alvin and the chipmunks with the gals. the chipmunks are super duper cute lah. i find myself going 'so cuteeee' everytime they appeared on screen. waha.

met up with wen in the evening, plan was to catch a movie again. yup 2 movies in one day haha. decided on a thai horror movie 'body', xuemin and christopher joined us too. so we spent our countdown in the movie theatre...movie was ok, i got scared a few times but the twist at the end was kind of hard to understand for me. haha. went to have beancurd after that at selegie then home =).

its boxing day!

i had one of my best xmas this year. christmas eve was spent with my gg gals at clarice's house. thanx clar and gals for the food and everything. *loves. ate, chatted, played mahjong and not forgetting gifts exchange. this time round we played angel and mortal. everyone else have different angels and mortals but it turned out that yap n i were each other's angel and mortal haha.

xmas day itself was spent with my poly gals. met in town for manhattan, portion was huge and delicious as usual. took a long time for the gifts exchange as we kept drawing our own names. the most interesting gift yesterday has got to be the one from mich though. =) wanted to catch alvin and the chipmunks after dinner but there were no tix so we ended up at starbucks. anyway the lights in town were really beautiful, and it was kind of special walking on orchard road which was meant for vehicles but was closed just for xmas yesterday.

went to this club named home on wed with mich and moo, it was a event organised by a group in school. there wasnt a crowd, and we tried our best to entertain ourselves and drank a little. =) left the club to search for supper and ended up at mac, thereafter the gals went on to mustafa and i went home.

met up with wen and mei on sat in town, exchanged presents, shopped for presents, shopped for ourselves, and i finally tried pepper lunch for the 1st time =) . its nice nice but the gals dont seem to like it that much haha. theres a strong xmas atmosphere in town already, crowds everywhere and everyone taking pics and buying presents. edmund came to join us in the evening and we all settled down at coffeebean for chit-chats at night.

finally had went to have manhattan over the weekend. tasted heavenlyyyy...especially the prawns! sinful but enjoyable =D

after that we took 63 from chinatown, intending to go to bugis, but took the wrong direction and ended up bus-touring tiong bahru and rehill area instead. ('_'lll) . managed to control myself and didnt get anything at bugis, a big achievement indeed for me =)

went johore yesterday with family, shopped at giant on the way back and bought many many junk food and dvds wahaha. bought sims2 too, tried to install it yesterday night but it took years and lagged my whole laptop. argh.

so it was pouring the whole day today, and i wished i could just snuggle up in bed and sleep the day away. waha.

went for fyp, happily made my way home. walked under my block, floor was really wet and slippery. told myself to walk really carefully, and ta-da! i slipped and fell. damn painful for a moment, and the auntie who was walking in the direction towards me at that time smiled and told me to be careful. embarrassed to the max lah.

anyway, a small plastic part of my laptop radiator chipped off due to the fall. hopefully it wont bring any problems to me. =(

oh yah, and to add on to my gloominess, i broke my belt earlier too while in school. =)

finished half a packet of my fav dark choc m&ms, and realised that even chocolates dont help when you are feeling really gloomy. =( today is just not my day.

welcome to the real world of working once again, shan!

so i've been busy working as a promoter for safra membership from thursday and its gona last all the way til sunday. the basic pay is pretty attractive, apart from the fact that we did not get double pay on thursday even though it was a public holiday...arrr but well it didnt really occur to me to ask for double pay also so nvm...whats really really driving me crazy, is the way we get treated there. wth.

our every single move is constantly being watched by the supervisor, i can just turn around and see the supervisor staring at me almost every 5minutes. we can't make small talk with one another even when there are no customers around, coz we will get reprimended by her either directly or worse, super sarcastically. best part is, she herself can sit around with the full timers and chit chat like nobody's business. i seriously hope i can continue to control my temper and not reply something rude back to her for the next 2 days. tolerence tolerence tolerence !

bus ride up there was sooo long, didnt sleep much coz the bus was too cold for comfort as it gets nearer and nearer to genting. bus ride down was worse! took so so so long. so many delays, and even got bumped by another car just as we were going to reach golden mile. lol! the plate number is 8333 so buy 4D k. waha.

monday was quite lousy in terms of luck. wait for bus, bus all too full. wait for cab, no cab wana take us. hoped for good weather, then it started to rain cats and dogs. lol.

class was quite nice today. i finally discovered a little bit of joy in coming up with flowcharts. =) but business finance ut was kinda horrible. once again i confirmed that numbers dont like me, and i dont like them either. fyp meeting with supervisor, discovered we have 101 things to do by this week again. sigh.

once again, im practising my art of skipping classes. ARGH. i'll never be able to change lah!

met with with fyp supervisor today, found out that all our use-case diagrams were wrongly done, our project schedule seems to be way behind time and all. at the back of my mind the scenes of us staying up the whole night doing fyp1 kept playing over and over again as i think about our progress now. lol. the torturing process of fyp 2 might start soon. =)

after that trained to jurong east to meet wen. long time since i step foot in jurong, my childhood and sec school hangout! crapped with each other as usual, and we went groceries shopping at gaint and daiso. wahaha. used to shop for stationary and colourful files at daiso when we were in sec school but now, we shop for food and household items instead. see the contrast?

so after class, we all went shopping at isetan. private sale! tons of people there...people rush around shopping as if all the stuffs are free. =l bought my wallet and a top. =D

im so happy happy now...my ce page was updated yesterday and it shows that i have officially completed it...woohoooo! =)

and after working on my pp for the whole day today furiously typing away without other sources of entertainment (besides msn-ing once in a while lah, haha), i've finished up my pp report. =) =) =)

let's talk about my love-hate relationship with natas fair at chan brothers. the hate part was mentioned at the earlier post...and now that everything is over, i'm beginning to miss the fun parts too.

everything there was so hectic and busy but i met very nice people like the tour guides, especially those from korea, fellow people who suffered with me like ivian and some of the part-timers and of coz dearest beatrice lah. =) we tried our best to 苦中作乐, gossiping and complaining about evil customers whenever we have free time, taking our time to walk to the far far away toilets, collecting free coke and milo, eating cold food together at weird timings, and of coz, giving ourselves permission to end work earlier and sneaking out before anyone else sees us. =)

im still amazed at the korean guides for having the ability to speak super fluent chinese and i admire them for their hardwork at trying to promote their country. i really appreciate some of them for being so friendly to us and making us laugh when we are feeling really stressed. =D

was really too busy and tired to take photos, we only managed one pretty ugly but memorable one:ivian shan beatrice =)

lunch was taken at 5+pm on the 1st day...the day when we were so tortured. waha.

and now...its time to settle down for school. (groan)

gave myself one extra day of holiday on monday to catch up on my long lost sleep, so today is officially my 1st day of my last semester in rp. very hopefully, i will be present in class for the rest of the week. =)

let me summerize my working experiences for this holidays.

DRX: sore arms and shoulders
HMV: sore legs
Chan Brothers @ NATAS fair: sore throat from talking too loud and too much

NATAS fair was crazy. talked and talked to customers, count and count the bill for them, fill and fill forms for them. =l
from this i feel like i've seen the most impossible-to-please customers, the most ridiculous customers who will flare up just because there are no more free gifts and many others who fall more or less in the same catergory. but luckily, there's also some customers who will make me feel relaxed and happy when serving them lah. =)

still have another day to continue.. like our trainer said during the training, this experience has successfully frightened me off from the tourism industry, at least for while.

pp is due very very soon and i've not started.

been attending training at chan brothers for working at NATAS fair this week. never realise that booking a holiday tour can be so complicated until now. what different kind of room, airport tax, overseas tax, what different kind of airline and what vistas! *faint.

nevertheless, from this i really find the tourism industry very very interesting lah. but then again maybe i'll change my mind after this job ends on sunday. =)

class list is out, and im pretty happy with it =D

and last sem of rp begins next monday, not very happy about it. waha.

ok im back to blog. =)

spent tues wed and thurs working in hmv for stocktake. the hardest thing was to wake up super early in the morning, at 5+am. the work was ok...just scanning and counting their cds in the store for them. they had a lot of staff so everything was done by mid-day everyday. the aftermath of squatting up and down to reach the cds was a pair of very sore legs by thursday. waha.

since work ended early everyday, beatrice and i always have some mini activites after that. had lunch at xing wang on tues and we tried out the huge mango ice mountain as shown in mich's blog. it was really really big and we couldn't finish it but its delicious! highly recommended. =D

didnt do much on wed since we were quite tired out from work already. went to find mich at taka just before she started work then lunched at lido and walked around after that.

for thurs we went down to kelly services to settle our pay details for drX, hope i'll recieve my pay soon soon! then met up with mich and xiaoting to shop. fri was a day off for me to rest my sore legs and catch up with my sleep. woke up at 3+pm. yah im really a pig. haha.

accompanied wen to dye her hair yesterday and i got a trim too. but it was a disaster lah. =( i shall not comment on it. this sums up my 2nd week of hols. andddd im craving madly for sakae sushi buffet!

spent weekend at suntec with beatrice giving out flyers for this medispa called drX. the crowd at suntec was simply horrifying. seems as though whole of singapore rushing to comex! and everyone carrying big and small bags, printers, lcds and what-have-you...as if all are free like that. work was simple, just standing around smiling and giving out flyers. kinda easy money =D

due to the big crowd we finished giving out flyers very quickly and always had a lot of free time, so we had our own time own target breaktimes, sneaking to lunch and also some less crowded area near toy r us for the 1st day and for the 2nd day we went one step further by sneaking out to marina square! but we really did our jobs 1st before sneaking out lah k...in all over the 2 days we gave out about 4000 flyers each =)

gona start work at hmv tml for their stocking. 830am tml and then 7am for the next 2 days. want my life! going to start my battle with my bed every morning soon. =)

and eveything will be smooth. =)

finally found some temp jobs for this week at suntec and next week at hmv. money money money! =)

had a long day today. both wen and i woke up late but we still managed to go for k-lunch. it was really worth it! we got a free jug instead of just 2 glasses of lemon tea for some unknown reasons and actually sang from 11.30 to 3pm. wahahaha! so people i strongly recommend cck kbox yah?=D

went shopping at suntec and marina afterwards. nothing much to see but there were a whole lot of people at suntec, prob due to comex. cant imagine im gona be at suntec for the next 3 days too.

yup and i spent yesterday watching 换换爱 and crying my eyes out at all the sad parts towards the end. but still its a good show yah. im so addicted. =) i just ate a piece of bread and now, im waiting for my bro to come back with prata for supper. im so gona get fat!

so we didnt get to cycle in the end coz of the rain on friday. =( i still hope we'll be able to have some outdoor activities soon yah, im becoming more and more like a pig without the exercise!

everyday eat, sleep, tv, internet, youtube, crunchy roll, then eat, sleep again. sinful but truely enjoyable. =)

but i still drag myself out in hope of getting jobs too. like today when i had a mini adventure with dear beatrice trying to locate the building we were supposed to go for an interview . took a bus that we've never taken before and then conviniently forgot to count the stops before getting down. luckily we reach the correct stop in the end but had to run across several big roads before we get to that ulu building. anyway the best part was, the job is not suitable for us lah, how to promote and sell 16 boxes of hairdye in one day? its not wonder hairdye. =l

anyway, met up with wen n huimei on fri. been months since i last saw mei. updated lots about each other, ate a good meal together and revived our favourite pastime- taking neoprints. i'm looking forward to what she's been planning and aiming for next year =D

went shopping on sat, bought a top which i kinda regretted. continued my shopping today with the gals, bought a pair of shorts which i love. waha. im super broke and i need work!

went to many places today. orchard for partyworld then a short walk around fareast, then toa payoh where i mis-led the gals causing all of us to walk one big round under the erm kinda hot weather =) , then to ang mo kio to grab some bites. i finally dragged myself to cck to order my contacts after we all separated. i really really should take better care of my eyes lah. always wearing expired contact lenses. =p

yup and so i spent a ton today...but since its all on necessities cant be helped. =l everything seems to run out when im at my poorest, i wonder why. haha. and the die-heart me still craving and craving for shoppinggggggg!

so we didnt get that private sale job in the end. which means i'll say bye to my wallet and maybe even s500i for the time being. =( i need money lah.

to make myself happier i suggested watching the fireworks at esplanade area and the gals agreed. =) so we made our way to marina square area, found a spot which we hope will not be blocked and started waiting patiently for our dear fireworks. our anyhow-choosen spot proved to be quite a fab one, we could see the fireworks so clearly! =D really really beautiful lah. it somehow made-up for missing last year's, i suppose. =)

but the horrible traffic after that drove my whatever excitment from earlier away lah. waited tamade long for that 700 and none came! gave up and took 111 and the jam was damn long, i took like 15mins just to get from suntec area to the esplanade bustop. argh. thought i saw a 960 infront and it was leaving already so just ran to catch it without taking a look again...but thank god it really turned out to be the correct bus. =)

waiting seems to be the keyword of my day today. had to wait for yet another 15mins for my feeder bus before i finally reach home. going home from cityhall, feels as though going home from pasir ris. ^%*(&*)!!!

went job-hunting today. i actually just applied for fun yesterday and didnt think much of it but didnt expect the company to turn out to be valentino. my 1st ever experience being interviewed by a high-end products company. well the money seems to be good and so we are eagerly waiting for their call now. =)

we got motivated after the interview and went on to look for more temp jobs, at taka and even at recruit express. haha. guess i'll dream of lots of $$$$ and jobs tonight. and i'll be madly checking my handphone tomorrow in hope of getting that private sale job. =)

im getting a bit sick of tuition. my kid doesnt seem to be able to absorb what im trying to teach. one lesson he remembers and the next he forgets again. maybe im just not a good tutor lah. =(

lack of updates, because life has been pretty routine nowadays.

my phone plan is finally rching 20mths in less than 6 days time so i'm so crazy phone searching nowadays =) . nothing really catches my fancy except the sony ericsson S500i lah. so pretty!

tomorrow, i'll have the 1st free wednesday after fyp completion. meaning i'll sleep to 12pm = i like! but seriously, now life becomes too routine instead. even if i pon class i wont know what to do and where to go too now. boring. been eating junk food like crazy too. at this rate when next semester comes i'll become a big fat pig. =) i need a job job job job!

and after clubbing mich stayed over at my house. that gal was too tired to send herself home lah. =) i fed her well with chicken rice for lunch the next day. waha.

so i spent national day being a couch potato and glued to the tv. the parade was really nice! especially the fireworks and all. never been to ndp again since sec 2. i really want to see it live again someday.

caught the secret already. its a nice story. as usual i teared lah. the ending dont look perfect to me but guess thats the way in life. you gain something, you have to lose something. =)

towned with wen today, money spending trip for both of us...waha. we spent a longggg time in fareast, me looking for my formal top for fyp presentation and she, buying more and more stuffs along the way. think it was too long since i last walked around properly there lah, so many things i wana buy! nice tops, nice shoes, and nice bottoms! faint.

very fickle-minded today, tried on many many many black formal tops and still cant decide which one i want, and eventually settled on the one in osmose which i already saw and took a liking to in causeway on tues. so actually im just wasting time walking round and round fareast lah. and causing wen to buy lots of stuff. haha slap me. =)

anyway we had a dry-run for fyp presentation yesterday with julian wong. he said our project is fine and i really hope so.

weekend went off in a breeze and im back to yet another school week and counting down to fyp week. yah i sound so excited here. =l

spent most of sat sleeping. waha! but before declearing im a pig i must say that its coz of the drownsy medicine i took. =) yup anyways after dragging myself up went to have botak jones for dinner with my family. the food is really nice lah, no wonder its so famous. but the portion is HUGE. walked around imm after dinner...discovered many new shops. it feels like its been so long since i last visited my favourite west area hangouts like imm jurong point etc...missed!

watched my highly-anticipated harry potter on sunday with wen and the now-botak edmund. its nice but a bit confusing here and there, maybe coz i've never read the book.

tuition with the little monster in the evening was kinda disastrous at first when he kept sulking and crying. tried my best to pecify him as usual but i still kinda lost my temper in the end. but little monster turned into an angel afterwards when he took out a strepsil for me saying that i should eat that since im coughing. =D all my fustration melted away lah. kids! =)

and today, i witnessed how scary girls can be when being provoked. all the pulling of hair and all the strangling etc all came out lah. today has to be the most violent k-ing session i've ever been to...right girls? =)

went back to school eventually yesterday for the sake of fyp. the dateline is getting nearer and nearer and we are still having problems. everyone just pray for us lah k? =l

stayed home for the whole day today. so tired out from the week. no idea why too.

funny incident happened at school yesterday. we were in the library working on fyp when suddenly these 2 guys came out of nowhere and sat down, talked endlessly to each other and even helped themselves to our sweets on the table. before we could even respond they left a $2 note on the table and zoomed off. we were so confused about what was going on until moo realised that we must be tricked and flimed by them already. true enough i looked up and saw a team of people fliming down from the stairs. @$&^*&(!

saddest thing was, we even lost the 2 dollars in the end. dont know where it went though. =l

after countless reminders from mich, im here. =)

finally sent my laptop for repair over the weekend. i prepared myself for a long long wait but surprisingly the service centre called me yesterday claiming that my laptop is ready. so the happy me rushed home after school and rushed down to funan to collect it. everything was ok until i was told to test it. so i on it and nothing appeared on the screen. ('_'lll) i should have known that it really wouldn't be so fast lahhhhh. other people's laptops spent like weeks in there and mine only spent 3 days? yup so they found out that one of my RAM is faulty and removed it. i sent it in to fix my fan and power outlet and ended up with a spoilt RAM too. *faints*

the best thing is, they cant replace my RAM now coz its out of stock. so i have to wait again. so the only consolation is, i can have my laptop back for the time being except its lagging like shit. argh!

fyp-ed today but didnt have any progress. so near the deadline now...and yet we are facing the most problems at this stage. =l i can actually spend the whole afternoon on one piece of code and still cant see whats the problem with it. wth!

just realised this post is full of complaints.
cant help it, im a grumpy girl right now.

beatrice and i accompanied mich to fix her laptop this morning. lucky there was not much problem or we will all cry, coz none of us have any backup of her fyp stuffs. so tml i will update my backup in my pc again coz i'll never know what my dying laptop will do to me =l . yup and i burned my tongue while drinking hot chocolate. its still painful now lah. ^%%#@! must be the retribution for skipping class? haha =)

went shopping at vivo again after that. happy with my buys but unhappy with the depletion of money...i just cant learn how to save! =(

took long long journey back home and missed my feeder bus, so decided to stroll one round in bp plaza...discovered that the donut craze have officially arrived in bukit panjang! saw lots and lots of people Q-ing at the new donut shop. maybe i'll go Q too when i'm free next time. waha.

this holiday was really well spent lah. almost everyday was packed with activities!

pedicure from last friday

met up with xiaoting and jesslyn yesterday to accompany her to get her dress and other stuffs. walked around fareast and after her shopping was done we decided to go kbox. yah as usual xiaoting and i were singing all the s.h.e songs and driving jesslyn crazy with them. haha and i discovered that the sparkling pineapple juice is one of the nicest drink available in kbox lah! its so sad that its not available in the student package which i will take most of the time though.

wen took leave today due to playing til too late yesterday nite for her graduation day =p, so met up with her today and went shopping at vivo! so many things to see, so little $$$ to buy. =l nevertheless i got the top from topshop that i was looking for and targetted for another one for my next shopping trip . =)

ate dinner at this hong kong cafe called kim gary. nice and affordable food! we only discovered how popular it was when we finished our meal and saw a super long Q outside. go in before 630 to avoid the long Q!

weekend will be spent with family =) .

the only unhappy thing is that, school starts again this coming monday. ew.

what an eventful day today.

i think i will dream of an old old school, ugly gelled-up hair, thick make-up, funny school uniforms, five stones, happy family, donkey and 20 bucks tonight. lol.

went on a ce trip to the discovery centre today too, my 1st visit there but it turned out to be quite boring. =l the science centre is so much more interesting compared to it.

and and, my proposal for pp is taking FOREVER to be approved. i'll never be able to finish it and graduate lah like this. argh. idiotic rp.

i LOVE holidays! =D

this whole week passed by so quickly. but i enjoyed it so far. =)

met up with edmund and wen on wed. rushed down to cck after tution and we went for a movie. shrek 3! finally i get to catch at least one movie on my wana-watch list. its a feel-good movie lah, i like. =)for edmund's sake before he goes into the army, i agreed to a neoprint even though i was wearing my geek specs la. waha.

thurs, celebrated xiaoting's bdae at kbox. mich beatrice and i appeared suddenly at kbox with her cake. thats our little surprise for her. sing sing then window shopped afterwards.

ok so besides all the enjoying and playing, we have some good progress on fyp this week too. but i still dont like php lah. wished i had paid more attention in php class last time. #$#%@!

had quite a packed day yesterday. had my very first ride in my bro's new car to fetch my parents from bugis...im motivated to get my driving license soon! lol. then went to the IT fair later in the evening with wen and her friend lihui. it was damn crowded! cant even walk properly. yup and we ate lots of food at night. cafe cartel+swensen's ice-cream =D

today, i gave myself an early school holiday in order to attend my brother's ROM. so happy for him lah. =) was so touched when the couple exchanged their vows. the chinese wedding dinner is gonna be held next year though. had buffet dinner at merchant court afterwards...super duper full. my life seems to be filled full with food these 2 days. waha.

the tuition agency called today. but i rejected their offer as i duno if i can really be commited to taking another assignment and manage my time well. or another thing is that im simply too lazy lah. too lazy to even earn more $! god im hopeless sometimes. ha. anyway, the current tutee kid i have now is already driving me mad at times with his temper and stuff.

weekend is coming soon! cant wait to k-box. =D

another week to hols...though it only lasts 2 weeks...but better than nothing, i guess. =)

celebrated moo's bdae on fri in school. we planned a little surprise for her =). but guess she somehow knew lah since that day im in the the same class as her and i kept going in and out of class sneaking stuff in and out. waha. took lots of pics!

mircoecons ut today was a disaster. ut client laggy, i feel like sleeping ( yah of all times i choose to feel real sleepy during ut), and simply, i dont really know how to do lah. hai. i must try harder in class!

oh, and my laptop is failing me, seriously. now its like one of the nosiest laptop in class. and its taking forever to shut down too. lol. gotta really find a day to send it to the service centre soon. means no laptop for at least 1 week! thats why i cant bear to do it yet. waha.

today was spent fyp-ing.

our faciliator was actually quite impressed with our progress, but we were amazed that he's happy with our progress. lol. our enthu-ness for fyp has slowly died down these 2 weeks le lah...next week comes the coding part officially. im so NOT anticipating it. =l

anyway while waiting for mich and moo to come back from buying stuffs just now, beatrice found this cute website http://www.festisite.com/tools/generators/money/ and we starting playing with it. shall not post their pics here if not i'll get killed. waha.

its still a chore to go to school everyday. the getting up early part, the trying hard not to be late but still being late everyday part, the trying to understand what's going on in class part, and the struggling to be awake in class part. damn.

spent most of my afternoon changing this blogskin. the end product turned out to be very pinky and very girly...not really my style..lol. ahhh but nvm i'll just let it stay this way for now =)

had a fab gathering with the guides yesterday at bugis...we had dinner at a hong kong cafe and then chilled at this vintage cafe nearby afterwards. i love the food at the hk cafe! had the baked rice which had lots and lots of cheese on it. yah i loathe cheese but this one tasted really ok. erm and yah the pic doesn't do justice to it too. lol.

caught 200 pounds beauty already. its funny but really touching at the end. made me cry lah, as usual.

longggggggggg weekend! but a self-made one lah.

nevertheless, days to slack= i like! =)

i realise i dont really enjoy the modules im taking now. or at least not as much as i thought i will. always have been looking forward to finally take my business modules but right now i cant seem to absorb much or enjoy it. hope its just a passing phrase!

anyway, went to change my hair colour on sat. it turned out pretty dark almost black at first but now it looks more reddish instead. oh well. at least still a change bah. ha.

had my very very long awaited sushi buffet on friday! ate as if i never ate for days. waha!

slacked as usual for today...watched death note 2 and then a little of the japanese meteor garden...nice! even tution went quite smoothly too...the kid didnt piss me off a tiny bit today =D

anyway we had some little progress on fyp on fri, so i got a bit motivated and aimed to study html stuffs over this weekend but end up doing everything but studying lah. =l
its such a nice little weekend that i dont really look forward to going back to school again...with school everything is like so damn packed. argh!
